UK Call for Support - Part 2
Written by Shannon McShane
Tuesday, 05 May 2009 06:33

T-minus 3 days and counting until Little Ashes opens in the UK, the US, and Spain, as well as the 22nd of May in Canada. Now, even though we are so close to the release of this film, it is NOT too late to continue contacting your local theatres and art houses in the UK! Continue to do so, and more than likely you'll see a later release near you. Please see below the cut for complete a list of venues all with contact information needed for you to reach out, in hopes of getting a wider release of Little Ashes! Venue locations include London, Bristol, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham, Liverpool, Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Belfast. Call or email today! As the rest of us count down, Carlo Dusi and Aria Films has a few reminders for us all!

- - -

I wanted to let you all know that our Paul Morrison feature "LITTLE ASHES" (starring Robert Pattinson as Salvador Dali' and Javier Beltran as Federico Garcia Lorca) opens in the UK on May 8 at the Apollo Piccadilly Circus and selected cinemas nationwide. For those of you not in the UK, the film also opens in the United States and in Spain on the same date, and in Canada on 22 May.

Please go if you are able and help boost our box office for the crucial opening weekend. We'll be greeting people at the bar at the Apollo between 6 and 9pm on Saturday 9. Showing times and pre-booking information for the Apollo will be available from Tuesday 5th on 0871 220 6000.

For further information about the film and current details of the release nationally please check the Met Film website. Please also help us widen the film's release in the coming weeks. If you can't get to the Apollo do please call your local 'arts' cinema or cinema chain and ask them to show it!

For those of you who are not near a cinema that is screening the film but are subscribers to Filmflex, you will be pleased to hear that there will be a day-and-date VOD release on their service from Friday 8th May, so do spread the word amongst other subscribers!

For details of the US and Canadian releases see The Official Movie Website.

I've already contacted the GFT in Glasgow about it weeks ago.
They e-mailed me back saying that they would do there best but they didn't think Little Ashes has a British distributor?
